🔍Exciting findings ahead! Our latest research delves into the critical factors influencing the sustainable development of community disaster resilience in Serbia. 📊 Our study, based on quantitative analysis, surveyed 321 participants in January 2024, examining the intricate interplay of demographic and socioeconomic factors.

🔍 Utilizing an adapted ‘5S’ social resilience framework with 62 indicators, we explored five sub-dimensions:

1. Social Structure
2. Social Capital
3. Social Mechanisms
4. Social Equity and Diversity
5. Social Belief

📈 Through robust statistical methods like t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, and multivariate linear regression, we uncovered significant predictors impacting community disaster resilience.

👴 Age emerged as a pivotal predictor for social structure, while education played a crucial role in shaping social capital.

💼 Employment status proved influential in social mechanisms and social equity-diversity, with property ownership key for social beliefs.

🛠️ These insights pave the way for strategic interventions to bolster community resilience in Serbia. By addressing the nuanced relationship between demographics, socioeconomic factors, and disaster resilience, we can fortify communities to withstand, adapt to, and recover from diverse challenges.

Together, let’s build a more resilient future! 💪
