The Scientific-Professional Society for Emergency Risk Management is pleased to announce the admission of a new member – Mr. Jovan Petrović.
Jovan Petrović serves as a criminal police inspector at the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia, Police Directorate, Zrenjanin Police Department, within the Criminal Investigation Division. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including work in property crime suppression, violent and sexual crime investigations, and traffic-related offenses. On multiple occasions, he has acted as a group leader.
He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Criminalistics from the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies in Belgrade and is currently a doctoral candidate at the same university. He is also involved in academic instruction and has participated in the education and training of police cadets.
Jovan has received several professional awards, including the 2022 Award of the Minister of Interior for exceptional results, along with multiple salary bonuses from the Zrenjanin Police Department.
He is the author of scientific and professional papers published in national journals and has completed numerous specialized trainings in areas such as security, human rights, crisis management, and police negotiation.
Welcoming Jovan Petrović marks a valuable addition to our Society, especially in the domains of criminalistics, security, and emergency preparedness education.
